We never inspect, analyze, or transmit your document text, headings, tokens, or front matter.
Local Storage Only
Documents, tabs, and snapshots live entirely in your local browser's IndexedDB storage and can be cleared at any time.
1. Fundamental Architecture
MDForge is engineered as a static, browser-native client application. Every operation—including Markdown parsing, DOMPurify HTML sanitization, AST health checks, Privacy Shield credential regex scanning, and Myers diff calculations—executes exclusively in client-side Web Workers and UI threads.
2. Sensitive Data & Privacy Shield
The built-in Privacy Shield analyzes your markdown for accidental API keys, tokens, and credentials. This pattern matching runs 100% in your local memory. At no point are matched secrets transmitted over the network.
3. Third-Party Analytics & Advertising
Any aggregate telemetry (such as page views or general tool load events) is anonymous and strictly decoupled from editor content. We will never sell, share, or log user data.
